Greetings Believers,
We deliver gifts to those who celebrate Saint Nicholas Day. I originally was named Nicholas and served as a Bishop in the area that is now the country of Turkey. In those days I delivered the gifts in the dark of night throughout the year to children and families. Some countries still celebrate that time and I am still know as Saint Nicholas to them. I deliver gifts on December 5th or 6th or December 18 or 19th according to their customs. The most common way to celebrate Saint Nicholas Day is to leave shoes out for me to place small gifts in. Socks or stockings are fine, too. Some countries that celebrate Saint Nicholas Day are Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, and France. There are others too. Now you know why one of the names I go by is Saint Nicholas! If you celebrate Saint Nicholas Day may your day be full of love and joy.
Santa
